Drive along the Pacific coast + Fake Proposal

Breakfast in the creepy diner (read about it here)just wasn’t very appealing therefore we got coffee and breakfast bars at the gas station and drove to the beach. It was probably one of the nicest breakfast I ever had. We were already in Big Sur area, but the beach was fairly quiet, only few dog walkers along the shore. We met the sun got into a car and continued our trip.

Hearst Castle: Architectural gem among the coastal hills known for both its refined beauty and idyllic location. Unfortunately, we did not realise that we need to book tickets before going, so we had to skip this beauty, but I think it is definitely worth a visit, especially if you want some luxurious pictures.

Elephant seal beach: A great place to stretch your legs and watch 100s of seals resting on the beach. You might need some nose plugs for this experience, but you should not miss this spectacular view.

Mcway Falls: Easily one of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen. It is in a very scenic location which made this waterfall so unique. It is a great place to have a picnic or go for a little hike. Also, I believe this is a place where I had the most embarrassing moment of my life. My fiancé(bf at that time) pointed down to the beach near the waterfall where it was written “Will You Marry Me”, my heart fell down to my heels, I got super excited, but Daniel was just continuing on walking… We spent the next half an hour in silence….

Carmel-by-the-sea: Romantic, idyllic American beach town. Here you can enjoy beautiful white sand, watch the surfers and enjoy the sunset.

California: una casa a Carmel il 16 giugno 2010. Carmel, nota per le sue case in stile fiabesco, ha avuto sindaci poeti e attori, incluso Clint Eastwood

Santa Cruz: wind-tossed beaches and quiet coves, fine dining and casual eats. We have stopped here for a night and didn’t have much time to explore the town, but we did walk to the fisherman’s wharf and honestly, I have never seen such a big pier before, you could actually drive all the way to the pier and park next to your chosen restaurant. Fire Fish Grill was our choice for the dinner, we were looking for something budget friendly and this place offered cheap meals which ended up being delicious- My fiancé still talking about how great the food was.
